BOYDEN RUNNING CLUB
The Boyden Running Club is an after-school program for Boyden students in grades K -5. The goals of running club are to teach the basics of running, proper warm-up, stretching and nutrition, and gradual building of duration and endurance. We hope to develop a life-long love for running that encourages self-esteem, goal setting, perseverance and determination and a fit body and soul.
Running Club meets twice a year, fall and spring. Each session is held weekly for 4 weeks. The goal for the Fall Running Club is to have the students compete in the 1 Mile Fun Run. The Spring goal is dynamic and will be determined at a later date.
Sign up for Fall Running Club will be sent out the first week of school. We will begin our training Mid-September. More details to follow.
